About Me

I fell in love with flowers when I started working as a florist for events at a local flower shop. I was trained by the best, Cynthia Dearnbarger, who owns Flourish Flowers and Gifts. She brought so much joy to others as she gifted them with her beautiful arrangements. However, it was more to her than that. She brought people to the love and joy of Jesus by being a blessing to them. I was inspired by her love that she brought about through the father's grace. I loved accompanying her and seeing the bride's face light up when she saw her beautifully crafted bouquet and Cynthia's beaming face.

I continued to make bouquets and other items for friends over time. The lord graciously allowed me to start a ministry. I wrote and published a book in September 2024 and have a podcast that aims to point people to the higher name of Jesus. For more information, you can visit rockorclay.com

From building out that ministry, I was able to build my LLC for my book. I was also able to bless my sweet friends by being the florist for their weddings. The Lord reminded me how much I loved it and how he has gifted me to do it. Through encouragement from loved ones I am floored to say I am a florist. I would never have imagined that this is what God would have me doing. I never would have pictured myself doing all of the things I dreamed of doing but thought were impossible.

Hi, I’m Ashlyn! Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of designing florals for a wide variety of weddings — from small, intimate gatherings to large and elegant celebrations. Each wedding is unique, and it’s my joy to take a couple’s vision and bring it to life in a way that feels both beautiful and meaningful.

While flowers are my art, my heart is for people. I believe this work is also a ministry — a way to bless couples as they step into marriage. As I design, I pray over each couple and their union, trusting that these arrangements will not only create joy on your wedding day but also serve as a reminder of the love and covenant you’re building.
